AmazonSmile is actually a Foundation that donates it’s proceeds to other
IRS approved charities, like the Sunnyside High School Alumni Fund.

The Amazon Smile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation and Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; no fees are not deducted from the donation amounts generated by your purchases on AmazonSmile.

When first visiting AmazonSmile, customers are prompted to select a charitable organization. Just select, The Sunnyside High School Class of 1972 Scholarship Fund. (We are currently changing it to SHS Alumni Fund with Amazon). Once you’ve selected us as your charity, you login to your Amazon account, answer the prompts and anonymously start donating a portion of every purchase to the Sunnyside High School Alumni Fund.
